The TG ECET 2026 counselling process, conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), has successfully concluded for the 2026 academic cycle. This process facilitated lateral entry admissions for diploma and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates into the second year of B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses.
The admission process was conducted online in multiple phases, including a first phase and a final phase, followed by spot admissions for any remaining vacant seats. As of July 10, 2026, the final phase of seat allotment has been completed, with 9,699 seats filled across the state.

Q1. Who is eligible to participate in TG ECET 2026 counselling?
Ans. All candidates who qualify for TG ECET 2026 are eligible. However, they must attend document verification and complete registration to participate.
Q2. Is counselling held online or offline?
Ans. Counselling involves both online and offline steps – registration and web options are online, while document verification is done at designated Helpline Centres (HLCs).
Q3. What if I miss Phase 1 counselling?
Ans. You can still participate in Phase 2 counselling, but you may have fewer options as some seats will already be filled.
Q4. Can I change my college or course after seat allotment?
Ans. Yes, you can participate in the next counselling phase and modify your web options. Your new allotment (if any) will replace the previous one.
Q5. How are seats allotted?
Ans. Seats are allotted based on rank, category, local/non-local status, and preferences filled during web options entry.
