VTUEEE  APPLICATION PROCESS 2027

The VTUEEE 2027 application process is expected to open in October–November 2026. Candidates can complete the application via either Online or Offline modes.

Step-by-Step Online Application Process

The standard online application fee is Rs.950.

1.Register on the Admission Portal: Visit the official website (veltech.edu.in). Enter basic personal details including candidate's name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and select the preferred B.Tech program. Complete mobile number/OTP verification.
 
2.Fill the Online Application Form: Log in using the registered credentials to complete the detailed application form. Enter personal information, parent's details, address for communication, and select your preferred exam phase, slot, and exam mode (CBT/PBT).
 
3.Enter Academic Qualification Details: Fill in 10th and 12th board examination details, board name, school name, and marks/grades obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
 
4.Pay the Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs.950 online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm.
 
5.Upload Required Documents & Submit: Upload a recent colored passport-size photograph and clear signature (in JPEG/JPG format, file size under 100 KB). Submit the form and download the final application confirmation page for future reference.

Offline Application Method

If you prefer to apply offline, you can obtain the application form through either of the following options:

  1. In-Person Purchase: Buy the physical application form by paying Rs.950 in cash or Demand Draft (DD) at the Vel Tech University campus (Avadi, Chennai) or designated regional admission offices.

  2. By Post: Send a Demand Draft of Rs.950 drawn in favor of "Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology", payable at Chennai, along with a requisition letter containing your full postal address to the Head of Admissions.

Once filled, the physical application form must be posted to the university admission address before the respective phase deadline.

Documents to Keep Ready Before Applying

  • Passport Photo & Signature: Scanned image file (under 100 KB).

  • Class 10 Scorecard / Birth Certificate: For age verification.

  • Class 12 / Qualifying Exam Marksheet: (Or hall ticket if awaiting results).

  • Payment Details: Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card / UPI credentials.

Q1. When will the VTUEEE 2027 application form be released?

Ans. Online registrations for VTUEEE 2027 are expected to open in October – November 2026 on the official website veltech.edu.in.

Q2. How much is the VTUEEE 2027 application fee, and how can I pay it?

Ans.The application fee is Rs.950 (non-refundable):

Online Mode: Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, or Digital Wallets.

Offline Mode: Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.950 drawn in favor of "Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology", payable at Chennai.

Q3. What are the basic eligibility criteria to apply for VTUEEE 2027?

Ans. Eligibility Criteria to apply for VTUEEE 2027-

  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Class 12) board examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, alongside Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a vocational subject.

  • Minimum Marks: General/OBC candidates require at least 60% aggregate in PCM.

  • Age Limit: Candidates should generally be born on or after July 1, 2005 (candidates under 25 years of age).

 

Q4. Can I apply for multiple phases or slots?

Yes. VTUEEE offers 2 phases with 2 testing slots each (total 4 attempts across Jan, Feb, and Apr). You can register for multiple slots, and Vel Tech will consider your highest normalized score for ranking and Mahatma Gandhi Merit Scholarship allotment.

Q5. Are Class 12 appearing candidates eligible to fill the form?

Ans. Yes. Students appearing for their Class 12 board exams in 2027 can apply. They will only need to provide Class 10 marks during initial application and present their Class 12 passing certificate/marksheet during counselling.
