National Institute of Open Schooling

The NIOS is an open school board that was started by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 1989. This board works with the aim to provide relevant as well as a quality education at the school level, up to the pre-degree level. They want universalization of education with greater equity as well as justice. The NIOS caters to a number of opportunities for all interested students by providing many courses and programs. Due to the open and distance learning mode, this board gives the opportunity to all the students of the society to pursue their studies irrespective of their age, background, or other limitations.

NIOS 10th / 12th Class Results 2025

The National Institute of Open Schooling has organized and accomplished the examinations for the 10th board recently. Therefore, the time to declare the NIOS 10th/12th Results 2025. Admission Open for 2025-26 September-October Examination

Nios Stream 1 Block II admission opens on September every year and closes on  March with late fees. If you are interested to take admission in the Nios board and want to take an exam in the October-November session you should apply for admission between these dates which are given below : 

There is one more thing you should know if you are an old student in the Nios board and did not pass any subject in the previous result so you can take the again exam in this session.

The on-demand exam is a facility given to students to appear for exams at their convenience.

  • As per the NIOS date sheet 2025, the admissions for NIOS on-demand exams are held throughout the year.
  • The ODE exams are conducted in all the months except the months of public exams(April, May, October, and November).
  • Students need to register online and choose NIOS exam dates as per their wish to appear for ODE.
  • NIOS timetable 2025 states that results for on-demand exams are released within 45 days after the conduction of exams.
