A minimum of 45% marks is generally required for the General category, with reduced percentages for OBC (e.g., 42%) and SC/ST (e.g., 40%) candidates, as per Bar Council of India rules. Always check the specific criteria of the university or institution you're applying to.
M.Sc. Science - To be eligible for an M.Sc., you generally need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant science discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum aggregate score of 50-60%. Specific requirements can vary by university, so it is crucial to check the eligibility criteria of the particular M.Sc. program and institution you are applying to. Some programs may also require clearing an entrance exam like CUET-PG or IIT JAM, while others offer admission based on merit or interview. CUET, IIT JAM
B.Sc Science - To be eligible for a B.Sc., you generally need to have completed your 10+2 education with a science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology) and meet the minimum percentage requirement, typically 50-60% in 12th grade. The specific subjects and marks needed will depend on the B.Sc. specialization, such as a Physics/Chemistry/Maths combination for a B.Sc. in those fields or a Physics/Chemistry/Biology combination for subjects like Biotechnology. Some institutions may also require you to clear an entrance exam or interview. CUET
