Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, Pune – Scholarships

Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital which is part of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), offers scholarships to eligible students for its Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs.

For the BDS program, scholarships are awarded based on the NEET UG rank. Admission is done through the centralized online allotment process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The BDS program fees for the year 2024-25 are as follows:

• Total Fees: INR 26 Lakhs
• Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks and NEET UG exam

For the MDS program, candidates must have a BDS degree recognized by the Dental Council of India and qualify the NEET MDS exam. Admission is based on the NEET MDS 2024 All India Rank and the centralized online allotment list published by the MCC. The MDS program fees are INR 51 Lakhs.

Research Finance Assistance:

Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital also provides financial assistance to faculty and students for attending conferences, workshops, and paying membership fees to professional bodies. Some examples of the financial support provided in the past are listed below.

• INR 23,064 for attending the XVII Conference of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry in Lucknow.
• INR 39,538 and INR 43,931 for attending EMBO conferences on tumor microenvironment and signalling in Germany.
• INR 9,715 each for attending the 39th AOMSI conference in Goa.
