Dr. K.V.Subba Reddy Institute of Technology (KVSRIT), Kurnool – Application/Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. B. Tech Programs: Candidates must have completed their Intermediate (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. A minimum of 45% marks is required for general category students (40% for reserved categories).

Admission Categories:

  • Category A Seats: 70% of the seats are filled based on the AP EAPCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) rank through web counseling.
  • Category B Seats: The remaining 30% are management quota seats, filled by the college management following guidelines from the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
  1. Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can apply for lateral entry into the second year of B.Tech programs, with 20% of the intake reserved for this category, based on their ECET (Engineering Common Entrance Test) ranks.
  2. Postgraduate Admission Process:

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBA/PGDM: Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. Admission is based on scores from entrance exams such as CAT or APICET.
  • Tech Programs: Applicants should have a B.E./B. Tech degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions are based on GATE scores or ranks from tests conducted by JNTU.

Admission Categories: Similar to undergraduate programs, M. Tech admissions also follow a Category A (convener quota) and Category B (management quota) system, with 70% and 30% distribution respectively.

Application Process:

  • Online Application: Candidates can apply through the official KVSRIT website or designated portals for entrance exams like EAMCET and GATE.
  • Document Submission: Required documents include academic certificates, entrance exam scores, and identification proof.
  • Counseling: For Category A seats, candidates must participate in the counseling process based on their entrance exam ranks.
