The Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Central Placement Cell focuses on placement not only for professional courses like engineering, management, and pharmacy, but also for other scientific fields, humanities, and business.

The Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya's Central Placement Cell (C.P.C.) works to assist and provide appropriate placement in reputable international corporations, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. All Vishwavidyalaya students are eligible for need-based training, career counseling, and placement aid. The cell makes the Vishwavidyalya infrastructure available to visiting organizations, ensuring support throughout the whole placement process.

The university has a strong network of recruiting companies in all fields, and 90% of students get placed in almost every course. Some students get placed from the campus, while many more get placed from outside the campus. The packages range from INR 3,00,000 to more than INR 30 LPA, and companies like Airtel, Azim Premji Foundation, Balco, BSNL, CapGemini, Collabera and many more have recruited students from the university.
