The admission process for H L College of Commerce (HLCC) for the 2026-27 academic session is conducted through a centralized state-level portal known as GCAS (Gujarat Common Admission Services). As an autonomous institution, the college follows the merit-based selection criteria mandated by the Government of Gujarat and Gujarat University.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Com- Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with English and Accountancy as main subjects.
B.S. (Fintech)- Passed 10+2 with a strong background in Mathematics/Accountancy.
M.Com- Graduation in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.

Step-by-Step Admission Process

Step 1: Registration on GCAS Portal

All aspiring students must first register on the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) portal.

Registration Period: May 7 to May 28, 2026.
Action: Create a profile using your mobile number and email. Enter your name exactly as it appears on your HSC (Class 12) marksheet.

Step 2: Selection of HLCC

Within the GCAS portal, you must select H L College of Commerce as your preferred choice.

Course Selection: Choose between B.Com (English/Gujarati medium), B.S. in Fintech, or B.S. (Hons.) in International Finance.
Document Upload: Upload digital copies of your photo, signature, Class 10 & 12 marksheets, and school leaving certificate.

Step 3: College ERP Registration

Once the GCAS application is submitted, shortlisted students will receive a link to the HLCC ERP/Registration form via their registered email.

Students must fill out this specific college-level form to be considered in the HLCC merit list.

Step 4: Merit List Publication

HLCC will release its own merit lists based on the data received from GCAS.

Criteria: Admissions are strictly on merit (aggregate marks in Class 12).

Step 5: Physical Verification & Counseling

Shortlisted candidates must visit the campus for document verification as per the scheduled dates.

Verification: Carry the printed GCAS form, HLCC registration form, and all original academic and category certificates.
Seat Locking: Once verified, the college will lock your seat on the GCAS portal.

Step 6: Fee Payment

After the seat is locked, you must pay the prescribed admission fees online only through the college portal to secure your admission.
