For the 2026–28 admission cycle, IIM Shillong uses a two-tier cutoff system: the Qualifying Sectional Cutoff (minimum eligibility) and the Final Shortlist Cutoff (the actual percentile needed for an interview call).
These are the non-negotiable minimum percentiles required in each of the three sections to be eligible for shortlisting.

While the qualifying cutoff is 75 percentile, the actual overall percentile required to receive a Personal Interview (PI) call is significantly higher due to competition.

ST / PwD: 65–75 Percentile
To stay in the race after the interview, candidates must also meet a minimum performance threshold in the PI itself.
