The Jharkhand State Legislature founded Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) under the "Jharkhand Rai University Act, 2011" in accordance with section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. It is a private university situated in Ranchi, Jharkhand. In addition to being recognized by reputable organizations like BCI and PCI, JRU is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The JRU campus is well-furnished with all contemporary comforts. The administration of the institution is dedicated to providing students with top-notch infrastructure and facilities.

• Library- It has a reading room and Internet browsing capabilities. The library at this campus is the centre of all academic activity. More than 25,000 textbooks, as well as a sizable collection of reference books, journals, magazines, periodicals, and audio-visual materials, are kept in the library of Jharkhand Rai University.

• Computer Lab-The university's computer lab contains more than 120 desktops with an Internet connection. JRU offer a network of modern computers that are properly paired with a variety of printers, scanners, modems, and other ancillary equipment.

• Hostel-JRU provides different housing options for boys and girls, and we can currently house about 500 boys and 300 girls. Both dormitories and private rooms are available for students to use.

• Classrooms- Students at the university have access to bright, airy classrooms that are favourable to study and concentration. The seating arrangements in each classroom are comfortable and well-designed.
