NALSAR University, Hyderabad – Application and admission Process

Admission process for B.A. LLB (5-year integrated course):

Candidates must appear in CLAT (UG) and obtain a valid score.  They need to register and participate in the CLAT (UG) counselling and fill in the choice of NUL (NALSAR University of Law) as his/her first choice.  Upon getting the allotment to NUL, candidates need to visit the campus of NALSAR University, Hyderabad, complete pre-admission formalities, including payment of fee, and secure admission.

Admission process for LLM (one-year program):

Candidates with requisite qualifications (5/3-year UG Degree in Law) must appear in CLAT (PG) and obtain a valid score.  They need to register and participate in the CLAT (PG) counselling and fill in the choice of NUL (NALSAR University of Law) as his/her first choice. 

Upon getting the allotment to NUL, Hyderabad, candidates need to visit the campus of NALSAR University, Hyderabad, complete pre-admission formalities, including payment of fee, and secure admission.

Admission Process for admission to M. Phil Programme in LAW:

Candidates desirous of seeking admission to the M. Phil program in Law need to appear for the admission test conducted by NALSAR University, Hyderabad, obtain a valid rank/clear the test and submit a research proposal.  Candidates need to appear for a personal interview once he/she is shortlisted.  The University declares the successful candidates, who need to submit all the required documents and secure admission by making payment of the fee also.

Admission Process for M.B.A:

The selection process will be based on the components of (1) Score in N-MET/CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE (2) Academic Credentials (3) Professional achievements (4) Group Discussion and (5) Personal Interview.

Upon fulfilment of the above requirements, candidates need to undergo pre-admission formalities of submission of documents and payment of fees before admission is confirmed.

Admission process for BBA-MBA (IPM):

Subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria, based on the merit at the Admission Test, Performance in 10^th and 10+2 or equivalent examination, the candidates will be shortlisted and invited for Personal Interviews.  The Candidate may submit all the scorecards and the best will be considered for the preparation of the Merit List.  The Merit List will be prepared through a standardization/normalization process, the weights of which are furnished in the following table:

NALSAR University – CDOE – Admission Procedure

Candidates desirous of seeking admission in CDOE of NALSAR university subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the above table are required to apply online for direct admission at www.dde.nalsar.ac.in or www.nalsarpro.org

The following steps are involved in applying online for admission into various programs offered by NALSAR CDOE/DDE.  The online Portal for submitting the application form for admission is already open and is available up to 28.09.2022 for the year 2022.

Step 1: In the first step, the candidate needs to register himself/herself by furnishing the Email ID and other details on the registration page.  The Login credentials shall be forwarded to the Email ID registered by the candidate.

Step 2: In this Step, candidates need to log in using the credentials already received by them.

Step 3: Candidates in this step are required to fill in the application form.  For appropriate assistance, it is advised to peruse the Admission Notification on the Registration Page.

Step 4: After entering all the required details in the form of an application, including all mandatory fields marked (*), candidates need to upload all the relevant documents and the Photograph.

Step 5: After completing the filling up and uploading of documents and photographs, candidates now need to click the ‘SAVE’ button and save the data already entered. Candidates are permitted to alter the data already entered by logging in with their registered credentials, till the payment of the fee is made.

Step 6: In this step, candidates need to make payments using the online payment gateway.  For details of the fee, candidates need to refer to the admission notification and make payments applicable to the selected program and category.

Step 7: Once the payment is made successfully, a fee receipt will be generated which will be available on the dashboard along with the application form already filled in by the candidate.  In case of a ‘failed’ payment, candidates need to repeat the procedure.  In case the amount is deducted for failed payment transactions, candidates need to mail to ddeadmission@nalsar.ac.in providing the transaction number.

Candidates are advised to retain a printed copy of the online application and payment acknowledgement with them for future reference. 

The Course material, ID Card, and other information shall be forwarded to the mailing address provided by the candidate.
