Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Engineering was established in the year 1999. The Institute complies with all engineering and management education standards and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), and the Maharashtra government. It is also permanently affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The Institute has both NAAC accreditation and UGC recognition.
The Institute offers postgraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering (Heat Power), Electrical Engineering (Control System), Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (Signal Processing), and Computer Engineering (Computer Engineering), as well as MCA and MBA. Undergraduate programs are available in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineering, and Electronics and Computer Engineering.
