SATHYABAMA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL- SCHOLARSHIPS

Sathyabama Dental College and Hospital offers a mix of institutional, private/NGO, and government-linked scholarships for BDS and MDS students, largely on a merit-cum-means basis.

Institutional scholarships

  • The institute runs schemes like the Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship and Anbu Scholarship under Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, extended to deserving students across its constituent colleges, including dental.
  • These typically target high academic performers, first-generation learners, wards of defence personnel, wards of destitute women/war widows, students from marginalised communities, differently abled students, and talented sportspersons, with fee waivers or partial support. 

Tata & private trust scholarships

  • Sathyabama Dental College and Hospital students have been repeatedly awarded Tata Trusts Medical and Healthcare / Tata Education and Development Trust scholarships, for both Bachelor of Dentistry (BDS) and Master of Dentistry (MDS).
