Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan Group of Institutions Scholarships & Eligibility

Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan Group of Institutions (SSSGI) supports students through a combination of UP State Government scholarship schemes, central welfare grants, institutional merit-cum-means financial aid, and flexible payment arrangements.

Approximately 40% to 60% of students enrolled across various engineering, pharmacy, nursing, education, and management programs receive financial assistance or scholarships annually.

1. Government Sponsored Scholarships & Fee Reimbursement

The institution facilitates state and national scholarship programs for eligible candidates across various academic programs:

• UP Social Welfare Department Post-Matric Scholarship (Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Scheme):

  • SC / ST Candidates: Full tuition fee reimbursement and maintenance allowance for students whose annual family income is below ?2,50,000.

  • OBC / General / EWS Candidates: Partial or full fee reimbursement for students whose annual family income is below ?2,00,000 (subject to state government fund allocation and merit criteria).

  • Minority Welfare Department Scholarship: Financial support for candidates belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, or Parsi communities under specified state/national income slabs.

• National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Schemes:

  • Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students (based on 10+2 percentile).

  • AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme for female engineering/diploma students.

  • AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme for specially-abled candidates pursuing technical education.

2. Institutional Financial Aid & Merit Support (Sansthan Assistance)

SSSGI independently provides direct financial relief and philanthropic aid through the Office of the Registrar:

• Merit-Based Fee Concessions: Partial fee waivers granted to students securing top ranks in university examinations (AKTU / BTEUP) or entrance exams (JEE Main / UPTAC / JEECUP).

• Means-Cum-Merit Aid: Financial aid for economically weaker students showing strong academic progress and commitment to learning.

• Installment Payment Facility: To ease the burden of upfront tuition fees, the institute permits students to pay annual fees in manageable, pre-approved installments.

• Amenity Concessions: Special allowances or concessions on mess, transport, and hostel charges considered under specific socio-economic circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

3. Application & Verification Process

1. Submission of Scholarship Forms: Students apply online via the official UP Scholarship portal (scholarship.up.gov.in) or NSP portal during the active state application window.

2. Document Verification: Hard copies of the submitted application must be deposited at the SSSGI Scholarship & Admission Cell along with required proofs.

3. Institutional Processing: The Sansthan verifies academic records, attendance, and category details online before forwarding applications to District Welfare Officers (DWO) for final disbursement directly to student bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

• Income Certificate issued by a competent authority (Tahsildar/SDM)

• Caste Certificate (OBC / SC / ST) & Domicile Certificate of Uttar Pradesh

• 10th and 12th Marksheets & Passing Certificates

• Qualifying exam allotment letter / Fee receipts of current semester

• Aadhaar Card linked with an active bank account (DBT enabled)

• Passport-sized photographs and Bank Passbook copy
