Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering & Technology provides its students with a wide variety of scholarships aimed at supporting students from different backgrounds and with varying needs.

1. Government Schemes

Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students

• Eligibility: Maximum two girl children per family; income should be less than INR 8 lakhs.
• Funding Agency: AICTE
• Amount: INR 50,000 per year
• Number of Scholarships: 800

2. Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially Abled Students

• Eligibility: Disability not less than 40%; income should be less than INR 8 lakh.
• Funding Agency: AICTE
• Amount: INR 50,000 per year
• Number of Scholarships: All eligible candidates

3. Merit-Cum-Based Scholarship for Minority Communities

• Eligibility: Minimum of 50% marks in final examination; income should be less than INR 2.5 lakhs.
• Funding Agency: Ministry of Minority Affairs
• Amount: INR 20,000 per year plus INR 12,000 for hostellers and INR 6,000 for day scholars
• Number of Scholarships: 1075 for Muslims and 1173 for Christians

4. Central Sector Scheme

• Eligibility: Minimum of 80% marks in final examination; income should be less than INR 8 lakhs.
• Funding Agency: MHRD
• Amount: INR 10,000 per year
• Number of Scholarships: 4883

5. Financial Assistance for the Wards of Beedi/Mine/Cine Workers

• Eligibility: Income should be less than INR 10,000 per month.
• Funding Agency: Ministry of Labour & Employment
• Amount: INR 15,000 per year
• Number of Scholarships: All eligible candidates

6. Institutional Support:

In addition to government scholarships, SVPCET also provides scholarships based on merit and other criteria. Students can benefit from scholarships awarded through examinations such as the EAMCET, which may cover full or partial tuition fees depending on the student's performance and financial need.
