St. Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology (SACET), Prakasam – Application/Admission Process

1. B. Tech:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate of 45% in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) from a recognized board.
• Admission is primarily through the Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must qualify in this entrance test to be considered for admission based on merit.

Application Process:

• EAPCET Registration:Candidates need to register for AP EAPCET during the application timeline, which typically runs from March to April each year.
• Counseling:After the results are announced, candidates participate in counseling sessions where they can select their preferred courses based on their EAPCET rank.

2. MCA/ MBA:

Eligibility Criteria:

• For MCA: Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and must have studied Mathematics at the intermediate or degree level.
• For MBA: Similar eligibility as MCA, requiring an undergraduate degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Admission Process:

Admissions are conducted through the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET). Candidates must register for APICET and qualify to secure admission based on their test scores.

3. Diploma Programs

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 10th examination from a recognized board.

Admission Process: Admission is based on the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET). Interested candidates must appear for this entrance exam to gain admission into diploma courses offered by SACET.

Management Quota Admissions: For candidates seeking admission under the management quota, a first-class score in the qualifying examination is required, along with adherence to specific eligibility criteria set by the college management.
