Eligibility Criteria

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery )

A candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and having minimum aggregate of 50% in the Intermediate examination of U P Board or 10+2 level equivalent examination from any Board/University recognized/approved by Varun Arjun University. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC, aggregate percentage shall be 40% instead of 50% subject to NMC Norms. Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission

MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS (Master of Surgery)

A candidate who have passed final year of MBBS examination after pursuing a study in a medical college recognized by NMC and completed one year compulsory rotational internship and has obtained permanent registration from State medical council is eligible for admission.

M.Sc

Candidate must have passed three years undergraduate program B.Sc. with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) with Biological Sciences as on of the subjects or MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT, B.Pharma., BMLT, BMRIT, B.Sc. Nursing. Must have passed from a recognized University.

B.Sc (Nursing)

Passed 10+2 (PCB group) from any recognized board with at least 45% marks taken together and Clear pass in each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST must have obtained 40% instead 45%. Minimum age: 17 years and 31st December of the year of admission Maximum age: 35 years as on 31st December of the year of admission A candidate shall have to be medically fit.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

GNM 3 year course passed.

ANM ( Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery)

Passed 10+2 level or equivalent exam.in any stream with English as one of the subject from U P Board or any recognized Board/ University. Minimum age: 17 years and 31st December of the year of admission Maximum age: 30 years as on 31st December of the year of admission A candidate shall have to be medically fit.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

Passed 10+2 from any recognized board in any stream with English as one of the subject and must have obtained a minimum of 40%. Minimum age: 17 years and 31st December of the year of admission Maximum age: 35 years as on 31st December of the year of admission A candidate shall have to be medically fit.

B. Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

Passed 10+2 level examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology (PCB /PCM group) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. A candidate must have obtained minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST must have obtained 40% instead 45%. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31 December of the year in which admission sought.

D. Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy)

Passed 10+2 (PCB /PCM group) from any recognized board clear pass in each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Maths and English individually with minimum least 45% marks. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST must have obtained 40% instead 45%.
