IIAD Entrance Exam 2018:  IIAD entrance exam [also known as IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT)] is a national level Entrance test and the test will be driven through offline. IIAD Entrance Exam 2018 Eligibility

  1. Candidate must have passed CBSE/ISC/IB (or any other equivalent board exam) 10+2 examination in any discipline with the minimum of 70% of scores in aggregate.
  2. If you are appearing applicant waiting for your results then also you may apply for Indian Institute of Art and Design Admission.
  3. If you are holding any additional knowledge or experience in visual art forms, model making and drawing/sketching will be counted as an asset towards your admission.
  4. Candidate must have an interest in and a flair for art and design.
  5. If you are international students than you have to 12 years of education from recognized board and you must be English proficient applicant carrying minimum IELTS score of 6.

IIAD Entrance Exam 2018 Exam Pattern

It is pen/pencil based entrance test.

The duration of exam will be 2 ½  hours.

The exam will conduct to check candidate’s drawing and design skills, imaginative and creative expression, and visual and communication strengths.

IIAD Entrance Exam 2018 Admission Process

  • Candidates will have to clear the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) and following that the candidate will have a comprehensive interview and portfolio assessment test
  • Candidates who are applying for Lateral Entry will be exempt from the iDAT and their admissions will be based on portfolio and personal interview
