Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) JKCET is a state level proficient entrance test. It is the principle leading body for sorting out Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET). This entrance test is directed for admission to the designing courses offered by schools situated in J&K state.

JKCET 2021 will be held in pen and paper based test mode on April . JKCET application form will be available online from March second week, 2021. Before applying for the entrance test candidates must ensure that they fulfil JKCET eligibility criteria defined by BOPEE for admission.

JKCET 2021 Application Form

Candidates have to follow the procedure to get & fill the application given below:

  • Candidates will get the application form from the March 2021 till the last week of March 2021.
  • JKCET 2021 Application Form will be issued through online mode only.
  • No application will be provided through offline mode.
  • Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature & thumb impression at the time of filling the application form in a JPG/JPEG Format.
  • The photograph maximum size should be 500 KB & signature/thumb impression size should be 200 KB.
  • Candidates also have to upload copies of permanent residence certificate, marks certificate (if the result is announced) & category certificate (if applicable).
  • After successfully filling the application form, candidates have to take a printout and keep safe for further use.

Application Fee:

  • Candidates have to pay Rs. 800/- as an application fee for all categories.
  • Candidates can make payment through online or offline mode.
  • The online payment can be done through the HDFC integrated payment gateway with any national credit/debit card.
  • The offline payment can be made through bank Challan from any branch of HDFC bank & J & K bank.

JKCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have to check their eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be 17 years completed on or before 31st December 2021.

Qualification Exam: The minimum qualification should be 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Residential: Candidate must be a permanent citizen of J&K state.

Minimum Marks: Candidates have to score the minimum 50% marks (40% for the reserved category candidates).

Subjects: For engineering courses, candidates have to qualify their 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM & English.

JKCET 2021 Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam: Offline mode (pen-paper based).

No. of Papers: The examination will consist of two papers each of PCM and PCB group.

No. of Questions: 60 questions will be asked from per subject.

Type of Questions: The question paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Marking Scheme: One mark will be allotted to the candidates for correct answers.

Negative Marking: There is negative marking for each wrong choice. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

JKCET 2021 Syllabus

JKCET Syllabus includes topics from the CBSE syllabus of Class XI and XII. The topics and their weightage in the exam is set by J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JAKBOPEE). Here are the details of chapter wise weightage of each subject in JKCET:

JKCET Syllabus for Physics includes 20 chapters having a weightage of 60 marks in the exam. According to the analysis, the highest weightage of 8 marks was given to Optics. The other important topics include Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Oscillations and Waves and Electronic Devices.

JKCET Syllabus for Chemistry comprises 21 chapters from Class XI and XII syllabus of CBSE. It carries a weightage of 60 marks. The important topics in this section are Chemical Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Chemical Bonding and Coordination Compounds. CHECK JKCET PAPER ANALYSIS

JKCET Syllabus for Mathematics includes 10 chapters from Class XI and XII CBSE Syllabus with a weightage of 60 marks. Important topics from this section include Limit, Continuity and Differentiation, Integration, Statistics, Vectors, Probability and Differential Equation.

JKCET Syllabus for Biology includes 14 chapters from CBSE Syllabus of Class XI and XII. It carries weightage of 60 marks. The important topics are Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Reproduction and Ecology and Environment.

JKCET Admit Card 2021

  • Applicants will be able to get their admit card from the April 2021.
  • The JKCET 2021 admit card will be available through online mode from our website.
  • The admit card will contain the exam & candidate details such as venue of exams, exam date, time of exam, name of the candidate, category, gender, etc.
  • It is mandatory to paste the photograph on top of admit card after getting the admit card.
  • A candidate will be allowed in examination centre, only if they have valid admit card.
  • Candidates have to save the admit card until the admission process over.

How to download JKCET Admit Card 2021

  • Visit the official website of BOPEE i.e. jakbopee.org
  • Click on the link ‘Admit Card 2021 Download’
  • Click on ‘Enter Course’ and enter respective course
  • Enter Name, JKCET 2021 Application Number and DOB to verify and press ‘Submit’
  • JKCET Admit Card 2021 will now be displayed on the screen
  • Candidates are advised to print JKCET 2021 Admit Card in colored format
  • Paste your attested colored photo in the respective space provided.
  • Admit Card must be preserved till the allotment of seats/ completion of admission in reference to JKCET 2021

JKCET Result 2021

JKCET 2021 Result will be published only through online mode in the 3rd week of May 2021.

On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam, the merit list will be prepared.

The merit list will be prepared separately in the descending order for general merit category & for other category.

JKCET 2021 Counselling

  • Candidates will be called for the counselling on the basis of the merit list. The counselling schedule will be released through online mode & also in the two leading English newspapers of the J & K state.
  • Candidates will get their counselling letter through online mode from our website. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates.
  • Candidates must bring their original certificates along with the Rs. 500/- as a counselling fee.
  • In counselling session, candidates have to select the college/programmes according to their preference.
