Eligibility Criteria and Process of Admission in Top Medical Colleges, Jharkhand.

  • A citizen of India
  • OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) candidates are also eligible subject to fulfilment of requirements as may be specified from time to time.
  • Domicile rule (Local/Non-local) applicable.
  • 85% of the seats are reserved for Local candidates of Jharkhand and the remaining 15% for non-local candidates.
  • Must have passed 12th Class or 2 years Intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as the major subjects with at least 50% of marks for general candidates and relaxation up to 40% allowed for reserved candidates.
  • Must have qualified in NEET (UG) and register for NEET Counselling before the stipulated date. NTA (National Testing Agency) will announce the dates for counseling soon after the declaration of NEET (UG) results.
  • Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) of the Government of Jharkhand shall conduct counseling for admission to MBBS/BDS in the state of Jharkhand in online mode. Candidates who are included in the Merit List of MBBS /BDS as per rankings in NEET are alone eligible to participate in the counseling to be conducted online.
