The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 English Board Exa 12th March 2018, at various test centres across the nation. This year, a total of 16, 38,428 candidates registered for class 10 examination; while 11, 86,306 candidates registered for class 12 exams."In the exam, straightforward questions were asked from NCERT books."
NOTHING OUT OF SYLLABUS
The English exam had all the questions from the syllabus itself, and students felt that nothing was out of syllabus.
DIRECT QUESTIONS
The questions asked in this paper were mostly direct according to the students.
EASY GRAMMAR SECTION
Students who appeared for the exam felt that the Grammar section was the easiest of all.
STUDENTS EXPECTING TO SCORE ABOVE 70 MARKS
Also, most of the students said that they would easily be able to score above 70 marks in the examination.
READING TIME FOR THE STUDENTS
From 10:15 am to 10:30 am, students were given time to read the paper and go through it carefully.
PAPER PATTERN:
The question paper is divided into three sections:
SECTION A: Reading 20 Marks
SECTION B: Writing and Grammar 30 Marks
SECTION C: Literature 30 Marks
