In what seems, by all accounts, to be a delicate move, the Haryana government has equipped to set up a school for hard of hearing and quiet understudies at Karnal at the cost of Rs. 20 crore.

"This will be the main such school to be built up in north India," said Krishan Kumar, Minister of State, Haryana, Social Justice and Empowerment.
While NGOs will be permitted to run such universities, Additional Chief Secretary of Social Justice and Empowerment Department will head an advisory group for screening and to survey applications.
School for people with handicap
The clergyman said that the legislature will set up State Institute of Skill Development and Employment Generation through focal plan for business era and open doors for individual with handicaps.
Krishan Kumar, taking after his announcement, called attention to that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has vouched for the same. He additionally repeated that the Union Ministry for Social Justice and Empowerment has rendered its endorsement for the venture.
"The school will be set up at Karnal and its development cost will be similarly shared by the Center and State," said Kumar.
Money related help and entry level position program
The impaired understudies will be granted with a month to month grant of Rs. 2,000 as budgetary help other than giving a three-month long temporary job program.
Serve Krishan Kumar purportedly called attention to that there are more than 3, 925 impaired youngsters over the state. While 1,865 youngsters are hard of hearing, upwards of 2,060 are quiet.
The Haryana Welfare Society for Hearing and Speech Handicapped runs and worked schools for individuals with incapacities at Hisra, Sonipat, Gurugram, Raipur, and Panchkula.
