A yearly state-level admission test is the Bihar Combined Admission Competitive Examination (BCECE). In order to get admitted to different undergraduate programs, an exam is administered.  It will be conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Admission to several colleges in Bihar for courses in medicine, pharmacy, architecture, and agriculture will be granted to those who make it through the exam.

BCECE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The qualifying requirements for applying in the BCECE application form 2024 for several courses, such as agriculture, medicine, etc., are provided here. The following will allow candidates to verify their eligibility, residency, and other requirements:

Domicile Criteria:

Nationality:

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must be from the state of Bihar.
• The candidate's parents must live in the state of Bihar permanently.
• You may also apply if your parents are officially registered as refugees in the state of Bihar.
• If the student's parents are state employees of Bihar but come from another state.

Age requirements:

• Medical Courses: By December 31, 2024, the student must have reached the age of 17.
• Pharmacy Courses: The minimum age to enroll in a pharmacy course is 17.
• Agriculture Courses: As of August 31, 2024, the minimum age requirement shall be 16 years old.
• Candidates must pass a medical exam in order to be admitted. The candidate can apply for admission if they pass this exam.
• No age limit criteria is applicable for engineering courses.

Qualification Criteria:

For the four-year pharmacy course:

• Passed the intermediate exam or a test comparable to it from an accredited board to qualify.
• Subjects: Pass the qualifying exam with one elective from mathematics or biology and physics and chemistry as required subjects.
• Minimum Marks: Pass the intermediate or equivalent exam with a minimum score of 45% for general candidates and 40% for reserved candidates.
• Applicants who are taking the 12th grade exam or an equivalent exam may also apply, but they must have passed the exam in order to be considered for counseling.

For Medical Courses:

• Pass the 10+2/higher secondary/ISc or its equivalent exam from an accredited university to be eligible to apply.
• Subjects: Complete the English Language and Literature test as well as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
• Appearing Candidates can also apply.

For  engineering course:

• Domicile: In order to be eligible, aspirants must possess a Bihar state domicile certificate.
• Qualifications: The applicant must have completed their 12th grade or its equivalent from an approved board.
• Those who passed JEE Main with a valid score may also apply for the test.
• Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are required for candidates to pass the qualifying exam.
• Marks: To qualify, a candidate must receive at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).

BCECE 2024 Application Process

The application for BCECE 2024 will be available during the third week of May 2024.The first week of June 2024 will be the deadline for submitting the application. BCECE 2024 Admit card

The BCECE Admit Card will be available online around the fourth week of June 2024. Candidates must enter their login credentials in order to download their admit card. The admit card includes information about the candidate, including name, father's name, category, location, date, and birthdate. The Bihar Board has released the BCECE 2024 admit card. Applicants can obtain their admit card through the website if their application was filed properly.

BCECE 2024 Syllabus

BCECE Syllabus will be based on 11^th  and 12^th  level such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates can check some topics below:

Physics: Physical world and measurement, kinematics, laws of motion, work, energy, and power, motion of system of particles and rigid body, gravitation, properties of bulk matter, heat and thermodynamics, oscillations and waves, electro statistics, current electricity, electronic devices.

Chemistry: Some basic concepts of chemistry, structure of atom, classification of elements and periodicity in properties, chemical bonding and molecular structure, states of matter, thermodynamics, equilibrium, redox reactions, hydrogen, solutions, chemical kinetics.

Mathematics: Sets, relation & functions, trigonometric function, algebra, co-ordinate geometry, calculus, mathematical reasoning, statistics & probability, sequence and series, Integral calculus, Application of Binomial Theorem, Continuity & Differentiability.

Biology: Diversity in living world, structural organization in animals and plants, cell, plant physiology, human physiology, sexual reproduction, genetics and evolution, ecology & environment, biotechnology, and its applications.

Agriculture: Introductory Agriculture and Agro meteorology, solid as medium plant growth, plant breeding and genetics, agriculture engineering, crop protection, animal husbandry, dairy and fish production, basic horticulture, preservation of fruits and vegetables.
