Career Point University, Hamirpur – Scholarships

Along with delivering outstanding education to rural youths, the university has helped financially disadvantaged students by awarding government scholarships totalling about Rs. 7 crores over the previous five years. To support education and provide financial aid, the state government of Himachal Pradesh and many other organizations provide scholarships to SC, ST, and OBC students.

Government Scholarships to SC/ST/OBC/Minority Community Students

Central/State Government provides scholarships/Financial Support to the students of SC/ST/OBC/Minority Community Students seeking admission in Career Point University’s various UG, PG, Professional Courses/Degrees (in Engineering, Technology, Management, Business & Finance, Administration, Science, and Computer Application, etc.)

• For M.Tech/ MBA Programme:

Eligibility: Based on the performance in Percentage of Qualifying Exam (Graduation) and Percentile in CAT/MAT/ XAT/GMAT/AIMA.

• Candidates who have scored >=90% in graduation and CAT/MAT/ XAT/GMAT/AIMA will get a 15% Scholarship in Tuition Fees.
• Candidates who have scored 85% to 89.99% in graduation and CAT/MAT/ XAT/GMAT/AIMA will get a 10% Scholarship in Tuition Fees.
• Candidates who have scored 75% to 84.99% in graduation and CAT/MAT/ XAT/GMAT/AIMA will get a 5% Scholarship in Tuition Fees.

For Other Undergraduate/Post Graduate Courses (For all courses except B.Tech.):

Eligibility: Based on Performance in Qualifying Examination

• Candidates who have scored >=90% in the qualifying exam will get a 15% Scholarship in Tuition Fees.
• Candidates who have scored 85% to 89.99% in the qualifying exam will get a 10% Scholarship in Tuition Fees.
• Candidates who have scored 75% to 84.99% in the qualifying exam will get a 5% Scholarship in Tuition Fees.
