The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay offers various scholarships to support its students financially.
Merit cum Means scholarship is given to a maximum of 25% of UG students. For Dual For these scholarships, academic merits as well as means are taken into account to determine the eligibility criteria.
Women Merit Scholarship is a special provision for female students of UG programs only. Female students whose family income range is between INR 1 LPA to 3 LPA are exempted from paying tuition fees. These students are provided with a scholarship amount of INR 30,000 every year along with a Woman Merit Scholarship of INR 10,000.
Female students whose family income range is between INR 3 LPA to 5 LPA are exempted from paying tuition fees. These students are provided with a scholarship amount of INR 20,000 every year along with a Woman Merit Scholarship of INR 10,000.
IIT Bombay also provides other scholarships known as – National Scholarships, which is provided to all students from their respective states. However, students are required to submit their progress report at the beginning of the academic session.
