The goals of Pondicherry University's scholarship program are to provide financial assistance and to encourage students to pursue higher education. The following is a list of some of Pondicherry University's best scholarships.
Merit Scholarship: For the first semester, the first three candidates with the highest percentage of marks in the PG admission entrance exam will get Merit Scholarships of INR 2,000, INR 1,500, and INR 1,000 per month, respectively. The top three candidates who received the highest grades from the previous semester are given merit scholarships for subsequent semesters at the same rate.
Merit- Cum- Means Scholarships- 20% of students enrolled in each postgraduate degree program are eligible to receive the Merit-Cum-Means scholarship. Scholarship recipients must be deserving and have parents' income less than INR 2.5 lakh annually.
Scholarship for MSc Marine Biology & Disaster Management: To pursue these courses in Port Blair, Andaman Islands, all selected candidates will receive a scholarship worth INR 1000 per month.
Scholarship for M.Tech Computational Biology: A monthly scholarship of INR 12,500 is given to all qualified candidates.
NBHM Scholarships- This scholarship is awarded to students who pass the NBHM test and is provided by the Department of Atomic Energy's National Board for Higher Mathematics in Mumbai.
