Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is a National level entrance exam for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management programme (PGDRM) offering 240 seats. IRMASAT 2018 is conducted by Institute of Rural Management Anand in computer-based mode. IRMA 2018 will be conducted on February 4, 2018 in online mode across 28 exam centres. Candidates must ensure that they have either CAT 2017 or XAT 2018 registration Id's with them as it is a mandatory requirement for filling the IRMA 2018 application form.  Final selection will be done on the basis of CAT, XAT, IRMASAT scores and performance in GA and PI. Specific weight ages will be assigned to these factors to arrive at the final merit list. IRMA Application Form 2018 – Offline Application

To fill the IRMA application form 2018 offline, the candidates need to purchase the prospectus along with the form from the Admission office of IRMA. The candidates need to fill the application form of IRMA 2018 and send it to the office. The fee should be paid through Demand Draft (DD). The DD should be drawn in favour of Institute of Rural Management payable at ‘Anand’. The DD should be mailed along with the IRMA application form 2018.

IRMA 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • The Candidates appearing in their final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for the IRMA Exam.
  • The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/DAP) from recognized University.
  • Candidates must have valid CAT 2015 or XAT 2017 scores to satisfy eligibility criteria

IRMA 2018 Admit Card

The institute is likely to announce the release of IRMA admit card in the first week of February 2018.

How check IRMA 2018 Admit Card

  • The IRMA Admit Card can be checked from the official IRMA website that is https://www.irma.ac.in.
  • The IRMA Institute will also send the admit card physically via post.
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear for the IRMA examination without a valid IRMA issued admit card.
  • Aspiring IRMA Candidates will be permitted entry only if they have a valid admit card issued by IRMA (Anand)

IRMA 2018 Exam Canters

IRMA 2018 Result

  • The IRMA results can be checked from the official IRMA website with the use of their IRMA Roll Number.
  • The results of IRMA will be available on 31 March 2018.
  • The final IRMA result will be the compilation of CAT and IRMA score and the ratio will be 80:20.
  • The final IRMA result will also comprise of the marks obtained in Group Activity and Personal Interview.
  • The Overseas candidates are selected on the basis of their GMAT and GRE Score.

IRMA 2018 Counselling

The candidates who wish to pursue PRM programme from IRMA must appear for Common Admission Test 2017 or Xavier Aptitude Test 2018. IRMA shortlists candidates for ‘Issues of Social Concern’ exam on the basis of CAT/ XAT scores. The shortlisted candidates need to appear for IRMA 2018 test. The candidates who meet the cutoff criteria of IRMA exam are invited for Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI). On the basis of the overall performance of the candidates, IRMA releases the final selection list. This concludes the selection process.

Study Plan

Candidates should create a study plan. While most candidates understand the importance of creating a plan, they often end up creating a plan which is not practical or very difficult to execute. This should be avoided. Also, while creating a study plan, the candidates must give more time to the topics that they find difficult.

Developing a habit of reading is of great importance. Candidates can start with reading articles in newspaper and magazines and later move on to columns, editorials and non-fiction books.
