UPTET is sorted out for the recruitment of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) is its directing body and is in charge of the whole examination and recruitment process. The Candidates who need to apply for the post of Teacher for Primary (Class I to Class V) and Elementary stage (Class VI to Class VIII) are should clear the UPTET Exam. For the UPTET Exam Candidates have B.T.C. also, B.Ed. Degree.

The selection in UPTET 2024 will be completely based on the composed Written Exam and will be directed in offline mode. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will direct the UPTET Exam 2024. For this, the UPTET 2024 authority announcement will be discharged on the first Week of October 2017. The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is the outstanding Eligibility Test for Teachers.

UPTET 2024 Application Form

• The UPTET application form will be available on the official website of UPBEB which is ‘upbasiceduboard.gov.in’.
• Applicants will fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
• In the application form, there will be columns in which candidates will upload their scanned photographs and signature.
• There will be an examination fee of Rs. 400 also which candidates will pay thru credit card, debit card, or net banking.
• The application for the candidates of the reserved category will be Rs. 200.
• Candidates need to take the printout of the application form and save that for future reference.

UPTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should know that the eligibility criteria are divided in two categories as per post. The details are as below:

UPTET Eligibility Criteria for Primary Level (Class I-V)

• Candidates must have completed the senior secondary school exams with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates should have completed graduation from a recognized University.
• Apart from this, the applicant must have completed 2 years diploma in ‘N.C.T.E.’, ‘T.C.’ and ‘D.Ed.’ from a rehabilitation center.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria for Junior High School Level (Class VI-VIII)

• Candidates must have completed the senior secondary school level examination with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Applicants should have 02 years of B.T.C. from N.C.T.E. to become eligible for UPTET 2024.
• They must have completed 4 years degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), BA/B.Sc. Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. From NCTE-recognized institute.

UPTET 2024 Exam Pattern

UPTET exam is conducted in offline mode. Objective-type multiple-choice questions are asked in the exam. There is no provision for negative marking in UPTET. Both Papers have 150 questions. Each question carries one mark. Every question carries 4 options, out of which only 1 would be correct. UPTET Exam consists of 2 papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Uttar Pradesh TET Exam consists of the following subjects for paper-I:

Child Development and Pedagogy.

The language I (Hindi).

Language II (English or Sanskrit or Urdu).

Mathematics.

Environmental Studies.

Uttar Pradesh TET Exam consists of the following subjects for paper II:

Child Development & Pedagogy.

The language I (Hindi).

Language II (English or Sanskrit or Urdu).

Mathematics and Science (or) Social Studies.

The Provided UP TET Exam syllabi are for reference purposes. We may not guarantee that the same related topic questions are asked in the Teacher Eligibility Test.

UPTET 2024 Admit Card

The organizing authority UPBEB issues admit cards for UPTET. The admit card for UPTET 2024 will be made available online in the first week of December 2024. It can be downloaded from the website. It should be noted that a hard copy of the UP TET Admit Card is not sent by post. It has to be downloaded and can be done by following the below-mentioned steps:

• Visit the official website of UPTET
• Click on UPTET 2024 Admit Card link
• Provide all the necessary details- UPTET Registration Number and Date of Birth
• Click on Submit
• UPTET Admit Card would appear on the screen
• Take its printout

UPTET 2024 Result

The result for UPTET 2024 will be declared in the last week of February 2024. However, the official UPTET Answer Key will be released by the end of this year. The notification of the result will be published in the major newspapers of Uttar Pradesh. The result would be announced on the UPTET Website. Candidate can check their result by logging in with their roll number. The steps the check UPTET Result are:

• View the scores and save them for future use.
