This collaboration seeks to empower aspiring angel investors with the knowledge and skills of the art and science of investing in the startup asset class.The two-day residential programme at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow EIC (Noida) campus will be held on April 6 and 7, 2024 and the registration will end on March 24. This short programme aims at HNIs, UHNIs, CAs, family offices and startup mentors to understand the startup investing landscape and opportunities for wealth creation, according to a statement by IIM Lucknow.The programme has been designed by startup experts from India Accelerator and faculty members of IIM Lucknow to provide a deep dive on a wide range of topics, including startup evaluation, investment thesis, valuation models, network and syndicates, AIFs, portfolio management, taxation, legal framework and exit strategies.Angel Investing in startups via AIFs is expected to remain one of the fastest-growing managed product categories as more and more high-net-worth individuals seek differentiated products that give them the option to generate better positive alpha on their investments, the statement added.Participants will also interact with industry leaders, gain practical insights, and build relationships within the startup ecosystem.
