GATE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

GATE 2020 is an entrance exam of Post Graduation in engineering admission for the academic year 2020-2021. Students who are going to apply for GATE 2020 must first check the eligibility criteria for GATE 2020. If GATE authority found that candidate is not eligible after payment of application fee, then his/her application will be rejected. No fee refund will be issued. In this article, candidates can find the eligibility for GATE 2020.

GATE Age Limit:

There is no restriction on students’ age to appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2020. Aspirants of any age are eligible to appear in GATE Exam.

 

Number of Attempts:

There is no limit on the number of attempts to appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Exam. Aspirants can take this test as many times as they want but one should try to clear it in the first or second attempt.

If a candidate is pursuing any higher degree or already obtained a degree higher than that mentioned in the above table, then the candidate can select the minimum required qualifying degree while filling the application form.
