The NMIMS Law Aptitude Test (NLAT) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for admission into its 5-year integrated law programs—B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) across campuses in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, and Chandigarh.

Candidates aiming for admission in the academic session 2027–28 must understand the section-wise distribution, syllabus details, and exam format to formulate an effective preparation strategy.

NMIMS NLAT 2027 Exam Pattern Overview

The exam is an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) designed to assess analytical, logical, legal, numerical, and language skills.

This section evaluates legal aptitude, comprehension of legal principles, and the ability to apply rules to factual situations. Prior legal knowledge is not strictly required, but familiarity with fundamental legal principles is beneficial.

Evaluates basic mathematical capability up to Class 10 standards.
