TNTET 2026 COUNSELING

TNTET 2026 counseling is the process through which qualified candidates are guided for teacher recruitment and appointment in Tamil Nadu government and aided schools. After the TNTET result is declared, candidates who have qualified must participate in the counseling process as per instructions issued by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB).

Counseling Process

  • The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) will release a counseling schedule on the official website (trb.tn.gov.in).
  • Qualified candidates must register online for counseling as per instructions provided.
  • Candidates will be required to choose their preferred district or school based on availability and merit.
  • Physical or online document verification will be conducted as per TRB guidelines.

Documents Required During Counseling

  • TNTET scorecard/result
  • Educational certificates (Higher Secondary, Graduation, D.El.Ed/B.Ed/B.El.Ed)
  • Community certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport)
  • Date of birth proof (Birth certificate, SSLC marksheet)
  • Passport-sized photographs
