TG EAPCET PREPARATION TIPS 2026

The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2026 is one of the most important state-level exams for students aspiring to pursue Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses in Telangana. With high competition every year, success in the exam requires a well-planned strategy, consistent practice, and smart time management.

  1. Understand the Exam Pattern & Syllabus

  • Engineering aspirants: Focus more on Mathematics (50% weightage) along with Physics and Chemistry.
  • Agriculture/Pharmacy aspirants: Prioritize Biology (50% weightage).
  • Go through the official syllabus (Class 11 & 12) to avoid wasting time on unnecessary topics.
  1. Create a Realistic Study Plan

  • Allocate more time to your weaker subjects.
  • Divide your day into small, focused study sessions (2–3 hours each).
  • Keep at least 1–2 hours daily for revision.
  1. Use NCERT & Telangana Board Textbooks First

  • NCERT and state board textbooks form the base of the exam questions.
  • Once basics are clear, move to reference books (like HC Verma for Physics, RD Sharma for Maths, etc.).
  1. Practice Previous Year Papers & Mock Tests

  • Solve at least the last 5–10 years’ TG EAPCET papers.
  • Attempt online mock tests to get comfortable with the CBT (Computer-Based Test) format.
  • Analyze your mistakes and improve weak areas.
  1. Time Management During Exam

  • Attempt easier questions first to secure marks quickly.
  • Don’t spend too much time on one tough question.
  • Remember: no negative marking – so attempt all questions.
  1. Focus on High-Weightage Topics

  • Engineering: Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Laws of Motion, Thermodynamics, Organic Chemistry basics.
  • Agriculture/Pharmacy: Genetics, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Ecology, Organic Chemistry, Physics fundamentals.
  1. Revision Strategy

  • Revise formulas, equations, and important definitions daily.
  • Maintain a separate formula notebook for quick last-minute revision.
  • In the last 15 days, focus only on revision and mock tests.
  1. Stay Healthy & Stress-Free

  • Maintain a balanced routine with proper sleep (7–8 hrs).
  • Avoid stress by practicing yoga/meditation or light exercise.
  • Stay hydrated and eat brain-friendly foods.
