TG EAPCET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2026

The candidate must review the eligibility requirements listed below before completing the TG EAPCET 2026 application form.

The eligibility criteria for TG EAPCET 2026 (Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) are defined by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and vary by course. Below are the key requirements

Nationality

  • Candidates must be Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
  • Applicants should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974, as amended.

Age Limit

  • Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC / ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admission.

  1. Educational Qualification

For Engineering, B. Pharmacy (M.P.C.), B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech (Food Technology)

  • Must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology fields, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
  • OR, must have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, or an equivalent examination.

For Agriculture & Pharmacy Courses

  • Must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with relevant subjects as prescribed for the course applied.

  1. Minimum Marks Required

  • Candidates must obtain at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the specified subjects taken together at 10+2 or equivalent.
