VITEEE 2022 Counselling

After the announcement of entrance exam result, the university will start the counselling session. The counselling will be conducted through offline mode. The counselling will be conducted at Chennai and Vellore campuses through single window counselling.A unique rank will be allotted to the candidates to appear in the counselling. Candidates need to verify their documents on the counselling day.

Commencement of Counselling process with dates will be announced soon on the official website of VIT. VIT will conduct the VITEEE 2022 counselling/seat allocation process based on the ranks obtained by the candidates in the exam. Following is the Counselling procedure to be followed by the Candidates qualified in VITEEE 2022:

• At first, the candidates must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 5900/- in the counselling official website. The payment must be done before the due date specified for each phase of counselling. 

• Next, the candidates must fill in their choice of course and campus in online mode. The choice filling must be done in order of preference. Candidates are advised to fill in as many as 25 choices to get confirmation of allotment.

• Seat allotments will be released on line by VIT authorities. Candidates must check their allotment logging into the official website using their application number and password.  Seats will be allotted based on the ranks obtained by the candidate, availability of seats and choice exercised by the candidate.

• Upon getting the allotment of seat, candidates must pay part of the fee before the stipulated date. Failure to pay requisite pay before the last date leads cancellation of admission.

VITEEE Counselling Procedure 2022

• The university will release the merit list after the declaration of VITEEE 2022.
• On the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates, they will be called for the counselling.
• It is must to register in one of the campuses for attending the counselling.
• Candidates have to reach the counselling center, which will be allotted to them.
• Candidates have to fill the preference of branch and college in the counselling session. Once the preference will be selected it cannot be changed later on.
• On the basis of candidate’s filled preference, the university will allot the seats.
• On allocation of seat, candidates have to submit the counselling fee with a DD in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore.
• If candidate will not attend the counselling personally, then their seat will be allotted to the next candidate.
• Candidates are instructed not forget to bring the counselling e-admit card and copy of aadhaar card along with other relevant documents to participate in the counselling.
• Counselling can report the allotted campus with their original documents for completing admission formalities.

Following is the list of documents required for counselling VITEEE 2022.  Candidates are required to keep them ready before commencement of counselling procedure.

• Photo copy of Provisional Admission letter
• Admit card and VITEEE 2022 Result copy
• Valid Proof of date of birth – X Class or SSC Certificate
• Marks Memo of qualifying examination
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate (if issued by the board)
• Community Certificate (For SC/ST only)
• Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura)
• Recent passport size colour photos - 4 Nos.
• Affidavit to be signed separately by Student, Parent and Hostel on an Rs. 20/- non-judicial stamp paper. (Format available on VIT website)
• Certificate of Physical Fitness (Format available of VIT website)
• 2 sets of photocopies of all original documents (Except Affidavits / Physical Fitness Certificate / Student Profile)

VITEEE 2022
