Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College has a training and placement cell that helps final-year students with placements. The placement cell provides pre-placement guidance through industrial training, summer internships, and career counselling. 

JGEC conducts on-campus placement drives where recruiters are invited. The college also provides all necessary infrastructure for the campus placement process.
