SLAT 2026 (SYMBIOSIS LAW ADMISSION TEST)

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is a prestigious national-level entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, for admission into its undergraduate law programs, including BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.), across its law schools in Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur. Established to identify meritorious and talented students, SLAT serves as a gateway for aspiring law professionals to enter one of India’s leading law education institutions.

The exam is designed to assess a candidate’s proficiency in areas critical for legal education, including Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge. Conducted in a computer-based format, SLAT emphasizes not only knowledge but also speed, accuracy, and decision-making ability, making it a challenging yet fair assessment for aspirants. With limited seats and a highly competitive environment, the examination demands thorough preparation, practice, and a strategic approach. Beyond the written test, shortlisted candidates are further evaluated through Personal Interviews (PI) to assess their communication skills, awareness, and overall aptitude for legal studies.

Over the years, SLAT has gained recognition for maintaining high standards, transparency, and merit-based selection, establishing itself as one of the foremost entrance exams for law aspirants across India. It provides a platform for students to launch a successful legal career through rigorous academic training and exposure.
