The Department of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has started the Common Entrance Test (MH CET) 2018 registrations on the official website, the link for which is dtemaharashtra.gov.in
The exam will be conducted for admission to the first year of engineering and technology, Pharmacy and PharmD degree.

Other categories: Rs 600
IMPORTANT DATES:
Last date to apply: March 25
Issue of admit cards: April 24 to May 10
Exam date: May 10
Declaration of result: On or before June 3
EXAMINATION PATTERN
Type of questions: The questions will be based on syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education
Weightage: Approximately 20 per cent weightage will be given to class 11 curriculum and 80 per cent weightage will be given to class 12 curriculum while setting the question paper
Negative marking: There will be no negative marking, however, the difficulty level will be at par with JEE (Main) for mathematics, physics, chemistry and difficulty level for biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be mainly application based

The MH CET exam is conducted to give admission to candidates to the full-time undergraduate degree courses in engineering/technology (BE/BTech) and pharmacy (BPharm/Pharm D) in various recognised institutions in Maharashtra.

The Department of Technical Education (DTE) was established on September 4, 1957. It runs 12 government engineering colleges, 49 polytechnic colleges, three colleges of fine art, 39 technical high schools, 17 government commercial institutes, 42 tailoring and garment making training centres and four vocational training centres.
DTE conducts Master of Technology/Master of Planning, Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Architecture, MFA, BFA, diploma and certificate courses through engineering colleges, polytechnics, technical high schools, commercial institutes, arts colleges, tailoring and garment making training centres and vocational training centres.
