Faculty: Ahh, as every other colleges, some faculties are like you will love them, but at the same time there are some faculty, whom you will start hating. Its the scene of every college. So stop depending too much on faculty, use libraries inside campus to gain knowledge.
Placements: Actually this field is a contract based field, you will have to work on a 6 month contract on ships, and then you will have to wait for 3-4 months to get another contract. Waiting periods changes from company to company. As a 4th Engineer or 4th officer, you will get around 1.5 to 2 lakh per month just after getting out of college. Yess, its a very lucrative field. So, lets imagine if you work for 7 month on ship, then you will earn around 11 to 14 lakh per annum, its more than any engineering field for freshers. Also your salary doubles as your post shifts to higher level.
Salary Package: 12 - 14 Lakhs
Start Up Incubator: Yess they will train you on how to attend interviews, how to be an entrepreneur etc... So rest assured.
