About JEE Main 2018

JEE Main is administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The national level entrance examination takes place in 248 cities in India and ten cities abroad. Applicants who have passed Std 12 or any equivalent examination in 2016 or 2017 or will be appearing in the same in 2018 are eligible for JEE Main 2018. Aspirants have the option to sit for either or both Paper I (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper II (B.Arch./B.Plan). On the basis of their JEE Main 2018 score and rank, candidates will be granted admission to several undergraduate engineering and technology, architecture and planning programmes. Aspirants falling in the top 2,24,000 JEE Main 2018 rank holders will be shortlisted to appear in JEE Advanced 2018 as well.
