KEAM 2018 Application Form

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has released the application form of KEAM 2018 on 1st February. The application process can be completed in six steps, i.e., registration, uploading of images, filling up of KEAM application form, payment of application fee, printing of application form and sending it along with other documents to CEE. The application fee for general candidates is Rs. 700 while applicants belonging to SC category will have to pay Rs. 300 during registration. However, ST candidates are exempted from paying application fee. The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid online (credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or offline through e-challan. Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala will conduct KEAM 2018 to fill around 60,000 seats in its various undergraduate engineering programmes. Candidates who have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology / Computer Science/ Biology will be eligible for KEAM.

How to fill KEAM Application Form 2018?

Candidates seeking admission to government/ private engineering colleges in the state of Kerala through KEAM 2018 are required to fill the application form. They must also check the eligibility criteria of KEAM 2018 before filling the form. The application form can be filled in 6 simple steps as given below.

Step 1. KEAM 2018 Registration

Candidates can fill KEAM 2018 application from the link provided on this page. Upon clicking on the link, they will be redirected to ‘Proceed for Registration' button from where they can apply for KEAM 2018. Only after successfully registering for the exam they will be allowed to fill KEAM 2018 application form. Candidates can register for the exam by entering details as mentioned below.

  • Name of the applicant
  • Date of Birth
  • Email ID and Mobile no.
  • Password
  • Security code

After successfully completing registration, click on the ‘Confirm’ button. An application number will be generated that the candidate needs to note down for future login. Applicants can now click 'Proceed for Upload Images' to begin the next step.

Step 2. Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression

In this step, candidates are required to upload scanned copies of recent passport sized photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression. The background of the photograph must be white or light coloured. Check the table below to know more about the specifications of scanned images.

Step 3. Filling up of KEAM application form 2018

Candidates will be directed to the next step after uploading the required images. In this step, candidates are required to enter the following details.

Choice of Courses: Course(s) opted for and choice of examination centre

Personal details: Candidate’s Gender, Citizenship, Nativity, Aadhaar number and details of Parents/Guardian, Permanent address and Communication Address

Academic details: Subject studied in class 12, Exam status of class 12 or equivalent, examination board, studied Sanskrit in class 12

Reservation:   Whether claiming reservation or not

Income details: Candidate has to furnish details pertaining to family income, district, taluk, etc.

Special Reservation:  Special reservation quota (if applicable)                    

Step 4. KEAM 2018 application fee and payment mode

Candidates will be required to pay the application fee by clicking on ‘Pay application fee’ button and select any one of the following modes:

Online Payment: Candidates can make the payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.

E-challan: Applicants have to print a copy of the e-challan by clicking on ‘Print e-challan’ and make the payment in cash at any of the Head and Sub post offices in Kerala

Step 5. Print KEAM application form 2018 – After successfully making the payment, candidates have to click on the ‘Print Application’ button to take a print out of application form. After taking the print out, candidates have to follow the steps provided below:

  • In the printed form, candidates have to affix passport sized photograph similar to the one uploaded at the time of online form submission
  • The form must be duly attested by a Government gazzetted officer/head of institution last attended
  • Along with the form, applicants have to attach the self-attested copy of Birth Certificate/SSLC/Passport
  • Candidates have to attach original Income certificate obtained from the Village Officer if details of annual income are provided in the form
  • If applicants have claimed any special reservation/PD/inter-caste, they have to attach certificate in support of their claim.

Step 6. Send printout of KEAM application form to CEE Kerala

Candidates have to send the copy of the application form with all the supporting documents in A4 size envelope. An address slip will also be available with the printout copy of the form. Candidates have to enclose it along with KEAM application form 2018 and send it to the following address so as it reaches there by the last date specified for the receipt of application.

  • Proof of Nativity
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Course Certificate in Original or Self Attested copy of Mark list (for candidates who studies Sanskrit at 10+2).
  • Original Community/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, if communal reservation is claimed
  • Original Income Certificate, if desire to be considered for fee concession/EC status
  • Proof for Special Reservation (if applicable)
