Students at the undergraduate and graduate levels are eligible for a variety of merit- and need-based scholarships from Chandigarh University. For the academic year 2022–2023, CU has set aside INR 45 crore for the same. Along with teaching assistantships in the form of stipends, CU offers several scholarships for students in the reserved category, dependents of defence personnel, and early bird applicants.
Chandigarh University Scholarship Types-
1,000 SC/ST individuals are eligible for this financial aid (provided by the UGC) if they apply through the National Scholarship Portal and are pursuing postgraduate studies in professional* areas.
Depending on how long the PG course will be, the scholarship will last for two or three years.
For the length of the Postgraduate Scholarship, selected candidates will receive a scholarship payment of INR 7,800 each month. Monthly fees of INR 4,500 for other courses
Scholarships for Engineering Courses based on JEE-Mains (AIR) Through this programme, scholarships are granted for a maximum of 5% of all available seats in each course.
