• In addition to research grants from funding agencies including DST, CSIR, AICTE, TNSCST, SERB, ISRO, and EDC, the college has earned numerous honors and recognitions from authorities. These grants have been used for project work, national and international conference organizations, guest lecture series, seminars, and workshops.
• KNCET has won the following accolades: The AICTE awarded the Clean and Smart Campus Award 2019 for keeping the campus green and clean.
• The 2019 Utkrisht Sansthan Vishwakarma Award is given for providing technology assistance for village development.
• Mechanical and ECE students won the Dr. Kalam Award, the ISTE Best Student Award, and the Third Prize in the AICTE Chhatra Vishwakarma Award 2020.
• Additionally, KNCET was given an award for intellectual property based on patent filing and certification from Cisco based on ongoing efforts by staff and students.
