Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology (PMIST) has been recognized by UGC (the University Grant Commission).
PMIST has also been approved by some of the organizations such as – AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), and NCTE (National Council of Teachers Education).
It has secured 19th rank by IIRF, and ranked 68th by MHW rankings in 2022. PMIST, Thanjavur is also accredited by ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement), and NAAC with “B++” grade, and is certified by IIC and ISO.
