Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria are required to register online by visiting the official website at www.sathyabama.ac.in and registering using the Email ID and Mobile Number. Fill in the application form, make payment of the requisite fee, (Rs.650/-) upload all relevant documents and a passport-size photo, signature and submit the application. After successful submission, students need to obtain a printout of the acknowledgment for future reference.
Shortlisted candidates are called for the process of counselling based on their merit in the qualifying examination and National Common Entrance Tests/TN Common Entrance Tests relevant to the Programme being applied for. They are:
GMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/TANCET/NMAT/SRM JEEE (UG/PG)/GATE/JEE (MAIN)
For all Engineering Programmes, candidates need to appear in the online SAEEE (Sathyabama All India Entrance Examination) conducted by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
Successful candidates need to undergo verification of original documents followed by payment of tuition fee etc before confirming their seat in the desired programme in SIST, Chennai.

On the day of counselling the branch of study will be allotted depending on the availability of seats and provisional admission order will be issued on the same day after collecting counselling fee of Rs.50,000/-. Allotment of seats shall be confirmed only after payment of the remaining tuition and other fees.
Allotment of Branch shall be made during the counselling, which is final and shall not permit to change later.
Further, Counselling fee of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) must be paid by the selected candidates through a Demand Draft payable to “Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology” at Chennai
