How to Download CAT 2026 Admit Card?

Candidates can follow these simple, step-by-step instructions to download their hall ticket once the official link is activated by IIM:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

• Open your web browser and navigate to the official IIM CAT website: ac.in.

Step 2: Access the Login Page

• Click on the "Registered Candidate Login" or "Login for CAT 2026" button visible on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter Your Credentials

• Input your unique User ID and Password that you received during the registration process, then click on the "Submit"

Step 4: Navigate to the Admit Card Tab

• Once logged into your candidate dashboard, look for the tab labeled "Admit Card" and click on it.

Step 5: Select Assessment & Download

• Select the assessment node (CAT 2026) and click on the "Download" Your admit card will download automatically as a PDF file.

Step 6: Print the Document

• Open the downloaded PDF file and take at least two clear printouts on clean, white A4-sized paper.

What to Carry to the CAT 2026 Exam Center?

Along with the printed copy of the CAT admit card, candidates must bring one of the following valid photo identification proofs (original, not photocopied or digital):

• Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar
• PAN Card
• Voter ID Card
• Passport
• Driving License
• College/University ID (if applicable)

Important Note: Candidates must paste a passport-sized photograph on the admit card in the space provided. The photograph should ideally be the same as the one uploaded during registration.

CAT 2026 Exam Day General Instructions

• Reporting Time: Reach the designated center at least 60 to 90 minutes before the session starts to complete biometric verification smoothly.
• Prohibited Items: Electronic items like mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, earphones, health bands, and wallets are strictly forbidden inside the testing hall.
• Footwear & Clothing: Avoid clothes with large buttons or heavy metallic ornaments. Candidates are advised to wear open footwear like sandals or slippers instead of closed shoes.
• Stationery: A virtual calculator will be accessible on the computer screen. A writing pad and pen for rough work will be provided at the station, which must be returned to the invigilator after the exam finishes.
