JEE MAIN 2023 has Three papers, one for Engineering (BE /BTech), B.Planning, and the other for Architecture (BArch). JEE Main 2023 Paper-I is conducted in both computer-based and pen & paper-based, but for Paper-II & Paper III is conducted in only pen & paper-based. Paper-I is comprised of the syllabus from the subjects Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Whereas JEE Main 20232 Paper-II comprised of the syllabus from the subjects Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing. JEE Main 2023 application forms start in March 2023.

Physics: Physics & Measurement, Laws of Motion, Kinematics, Work, Energy & Power, Gravitation, Rotational Motion, Properties of Solids & Liquids, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Oscillations & Waves, Magnetic Effects of Current & Magnetism, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic Induction & Alternating Currents, Optics, Electromagnetic Waves, Dual Nature of Matter & Radiation, Electronic Devices, Atoms & Nuclei, Communication Systems, etc.

Organic Chemistry: Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Purification & Characterisation of Organic Compounds, Organic Compounds Containing Halogens, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Polymers, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Bio-Molecules, Principles Related to Practical Chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday Life, etc.
Part-I
Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, and Materials. Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build environment. Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings. Visualizing different sides of three-dimensional objects. Analytical Reasoning, Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical, and Verbal). Part-II
Three-dimensional – perception: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms, and elements, color texture, harmony, and contrast. Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil. Transformation of forms both 2-D and 3-D union, subtraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of plans, elevations, and 3-D views of objects. Creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces, etc.), landscape (river fronts, jungles. gardens, trees, plants, etc.), and rural life.
Note: B.Arch/Planning candidates are advised to bring their own geometry box set, pencils, erasers, and color pencils or crayons.
