JEE Main 2019 Application form and Steps to Fill Online

JEE MAIN 2019 has two papers, one for Engineering (Paper-I) and the other for Architecture (Paper-II). Paper-I & Paper-II is conducted in online mode. The online application for JEE Main 2019 starts from 1st September 2018 for January Session & 8th February 2019 for April session. The last date is 30th September 2018 for January session & 7th March 2019 for April Session. While filling the application form candidate has to choose which paper he/she intends to attend and in which mode he/she prefers to give the exam. In this article, all the information of JEE Main 2019 application form is given.

Documents/Data Required for filling JEE Main Application form 2019:

Requirement of AADHAAR:

a) All the candidates from India should possess AADHAAR card. The candidates must enter their Aadhaar Number, name, DOB, gender as on their Aadhaar card. Any mismatch of particulars, candidates will not able fill the application form for JEE Main 2019.

b) For the candidates who don’t have Aadhaar, NTA has specially set up facilitation centres in each city of examination for the purpose of Aadhaar enrolment without any charge.

c) For the candidates who enrolled for Aadhaar, but not received should enter their 28 digit Enrolment ID which is printed on Aadhaar enrolment slip.

d) If enrolment facility is not available at facilitation centres, the applicants should submit a request for Aadhaar enrolment. The facilitation centre will issue a registration number to such candidates.

e) The candidates who passed or appearing in Class XII from states of J&K, Assam and Meghalaya need to enter the passport number, ration card number, bank A/c number or any other valid Govt. ID number provided they should select the city of examination in these stats only.

A valid e-mail id and mobile number.

Academic Details

The candidate should have a scanned image of his/her photograph and signature as per the instructions are given below.



1. Format: JPG/JPEG

2. Should be Colour with name and date of photograph taken printed on it

3. Dimension: 3.5cm x 4.5cm (Width x Height)

4. Size: 4KB to 40KB

3. Size: 1KB to 30KB

How to Apply Online:

1) Candidates of JEE Main 2019 have to apply online only. There is no printed application form for JEE Main.

2) Please ensure that you are filling genuine application form.


Fill the online registration form with all the required details, and then choose a PASSWORD, a Security Question & Answer and then Submit. Application Number is generated to complete the remaining steps of application.         


i) Password must be 8 to 13 characters long.

ii) At least one Uppercase Alphabet.

iii) At least one Uppercase Alphabet

iv) At least one Lowercase Alphabet.

v) At least one Numeric value.

vi) At least one special character (!@#$%^&*-).

Steps to Apply Online:

1) Using the generated Application Number and Password candidate is able to login directly.

2) Fill the particulars of the application form.

   a) Choose Mode of Exam and Exam Centre

   b) Personal and Academic Details

   c) Address for Communication

   d) Other required details.

3) Then upload the scanned photograph and signature.

4) Particulars can be modified only before payment of fees.

5) Pay the fee through Credit/Debit card or e-challan.

6) Exam Centres: The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland and Odisha have joined JEE Main system. Candidates can find the list of JEE Main 2019 Exam Cities below.

7) On successful submission, candidate will receive confirmation mail/sms.

8) Take a printout of the application for future reference.

9) Remove Discrepancy:

In JEE Main 2019, they provided the facility to make the corrections uploaded images and particularly specified fields from 2nd Week of October 2018.
