Steps of NIMCET application Process

  1. Registration:
    • Visit the official NIMCET website.
    • Click on ‘Registration for NIMCET 2026 and provide your name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email address to generate a user ID and password.
  2. Filling the Application Form:
    • Log in with the credentials received.
    • Enter personal, academic, and communication details accurately.
  3. Uploading Documents:
    • Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature (JPG/JPEG format, 50 KB–1 MB).
    • Upload self-attested copies of Class 10 marksheet/birth certificate, all semester/year marksheets, proof of identity, and category/PwD/EWS certificates if applicable (≤1 MB per file).
  4. Exam Centre Selection:
    • Choose three preferred exam centers in order of priority.
  5. Fee Payment:
    • Pay the non-refundable application fee online:
      • Rs 2,500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates
      • Rs 1,250 for SC/ST/PwD candidates
    • Payment is accepted via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
  6. Final Submission:
    • Preview the filled application, make corrections if needed, and then submit.
    • After submission, download and print the application form for future reference.

Correction Facility

  • A short window will be provided (typically in the third week of May 2026) to edit any incorrect details.
