NIT MCA Common Entrance Test popularly as NIMCET, is a national level test conducted by National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for admission in to their MCA programme. These NITs are centrally funded technical institutes having national level importance. The syllabus for this MCA programme is designed based on the present trends and needs of the various Information Technology firms in India.
NIMCET exam is one of the best opportunities for students aspiring to get in to the high potential IT sector jobs. The NIMCET notification has been released and this year the entrance exam is being conducted by NIT, Warangal. The eligible candidates of NIMCET can only apply online and then submit the filled in hard copy of application along with necessary enclosures by post.

Educational Qualifications:
Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear in the exam.
NIMCET 2019 Exam Pattern
Duration of Exam: 2hrs 30 mint
Exam Mode: Pen and paper-based mode.
Language: English language only.
Types of Questions: Multiple Choice Question.
Total Questions: Total of 120 questions will be asked.
Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer.
Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

NIMCET 2019 Syllabus
The NIMCET syllabus will comprises of various topics of Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English. Questions will be asked from these topics only.
Computer Awareness Section
General English Section
Candidates will be tested for their understanding of general concepts of the English language. Following topics will be covered in this section
Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning Section
Candidates will be required to answer questions based on the details given in the passage. Candidates will also be tested for their aptitude in logical situations.
Mathematics Section
NIMCET 2019 Admit Card
NIMCET Hall Ticket 2019 will be issued from second week of May 2019. Admit card will not be sent to any applicant individually by post. Applicants are informed to bring the admit card at the examination centre. The admit card will contain details like student’s name, roll number, exam centre, etc.

NIMCET 2019 Result is likely to be released during the 1st week of June 2019. The result will be published on the official website of NIMCET 2019. The result will be released in the form of individual scorecard of each candidate.

NIMCET 2019 Counselling
Applicants those appeared and secured marks in NIMCET test will be allotted ranks as per their scored marks. As per the rank scored by the students, they can participate in the NIMCET counselling for admission into MCA programme offered by NITs. Candidates are required to fill the choices of institutions through online mode. After seat allotment, candidates have to report personally at the college to confirm admission.
